Sri Krishna Utsav

Sri krishna Utsav is an initiative of Sanatan Siddhashram Adhyatmika Vishwa Vidya Satra to celebrate glory of Sri Krishna.
In 2025 this festival will be conducted at Sanatan Siddhashram in conjunction with most auspicious dhol purnima. Commencement of festival will be on 10th March and concludes on 14th March and comprises of two angas ( aspects).
Sri Krishna Dharana
A sadhana anga called Sri Krishna Dharana will be lead by Sri Rajarshi Nandy. This segment will comprise of Sadhana of Sri Krishna through mantra Japa, dhyana and other essential rituals.
Sri Krishna Aradhana
A arādhana anga called Sri Krishna Aradhana will be lead by Acharya of Sanatan Siddhashram - Parvathy Baul. This segment will comprise of worshipping Sri Krishna through song, dance and philosophy. Several well known artists and speakers will take part in enriching this offering to Sri Krishna.
We will be joined by - Baul masters, Sri Ramachandra, Smt Anupama kylash, Sri Vinay Varanasi
It is mandatory for the participants to attend all 5 days of the retreat.
Mahaganapati Dharana

Ganapati Dhārana is a 3 day program that enables participants to learn about some basic methods of worship and sadhana of Ganapati. This step is a pivotal foundation for all sadhana, especially in the path of Mantra Upasana.

There is an application process for participating in the retreat.

Location
The in-person retreats will take place in Parvathy Baul's Sanatan Siddhashram in Birbhum District, West Bengal (India), about 15km from Shantiniketan.
The ashram is located in a natural ambience. If you have allergies with plants, animals or insects please let us know in advance, we will try to help you in the best way we can.
As the Gurukul is still growing, we will have only basic facilities.
Nearest airports are Kolkata and Durgapur.
Please plan to arrive one day before the start of the retreat and to leave the day after the retreat ends.
We can help with more detailed travel info and arrangements after you have applied.
Accommodation
As the ashram is still under construction, participants will stay at a guesthouse in Shantiniketan and travel daily to Sanatan Siddhashram, our learning space.
Daily travel between the guesthouses and the ashram is arranged by us.
The guesthouse is a moderate setup with basic facilities and western toilets. Rooms will be on shared basis (2-3 people to share a room). On request and additional fee a single room may be possible, however this is first come first serve.
Food
Food will be simple, sattvik and vegetarian/vegan without onions or garlic – ashram food mostly grown at the ashram.
The food will be prepared at the ashram and we will all eat together. If you have any special requirements or food allergies, please let us know in advance.
